7 Gym Etiquettes to Abide By
Nowadays, going to the gym for regular workout sessions has become a part of our daily lives. It’s important to appear as a gentleman at all times, even while working out intensely at the gym. Abide by these rules of etiquette while exercising.
1. Thou shalt let others use the machines fairly
The problem of machine hogging is present in almost all the gyms. If you have chanced upon a machine you like, don’t be selfish by constantly using it. Be considerate to the others and alternate the machine between yourself and other members so that everyone gets a fair chance at it.
2. Thou shalt wipe the machine after usage
You wouldn’t like to use a machine dripping with sweat or water, would you? So the same holds true for your fellow members. Be nice and clean up the machine after its usage if you feel it has gotten messy.
3. Thou shalt not get swayed by hot girls in the gym
Admit it guys, many of you go to the gym in hopes of spotting hot chicks and dating them if you get lucky. However, there is a subtle way to start gym romances and it doesn’t involve ogling at girls, passing remarks or random compliments their way or acting like a stalker and following them throughout the place. Don’t hit on girls so blatantly and discuss about them with trainers and other members. It may backfire if women come to know of this, and they would complain to the administration which will promptly show you the door.
4. Thou shalt abide by the rules of the gym
If your gym has a set of rules like handing out only one towel per person, not eating and fixed timings of usage, make sure you follow them.
