If your girlfriend is the type of woman who remembers the tiniest of details about almost everything, she should ideally remember many details of her past too. On your questioning, if she refuses to answer because she supposedly forgot what happened, you could interpret it as a sign of lying.

6. She gives unnecessary explanations

Liars tend to give extra details and unnecessary explanations about issues that don’t really matter. They do this to try and make their case sound genuine and douse the feeling of guilt that they might be experiencing while lying. If you find that your girlfriend is giving you explanations when you would least expect them, it may be a sign that she is trying to cover up for something.

But if your girlfriend acts too possessive of these things, she might be trying to hide something from you.
