First dates are riddled with nervousness, anxiety, hope and tingling sensations of a could-be romance in the making. It’s natural to get befuddled and blabber anything or remain quiet throughout. However, some men take the experience too casually and how much ever charming they think they may be, there are some topics which if broached on the first date, could get them crossed off a girl’s list.

1. Ex girlfriends

If you are the kind of man who has had his fair share of experiences with women, you would be aware of the fact that women love it when they are getting all the attention. Obviously, on a first date with her, she would expect you to concentrate on her and not your ex. Answer about exes as and when asked by the lady, otherwise it’s better to stay off the topic.

2. Dirty talks

You must be used to talking dirty with your ex or cracking sexist and double entendre jokes, but it would make your date run in the opposite direction if you indulge in such talks with her in the very first meeting. Talking about sex and related topics is a strict no-no unless initiated by the girl.

3. Religion

Religion touches us all in some way or the other. More often than not, people disagree with each other over this sensitive issue. Steer clear from religious talks for you never know when you could end up with a fuming debate right on your first date.

4. Marriage

Don’t come across as clingy, needy and desperate by talking about marriage. It is a serious issue and talking about taking the plunge should be reserved for when and if you both happen to fall in love. Keep the date casual and easygoing without discussing heavy topics like these.
