1. Develop effective listening skills

Practice effective listening skills when you are with her. Do not react to everything that she says. Even if you want to revert by saying something, talk politely. Choose to ignore things, which can cause an argument.

2. Follow the “we” approach

Arguments are natural and you cannot avoid them. But, arguments can be avoided by following a “we” approach. Do not address your girlfriend as, “you are the main cause.” While an argument, simply tell it happened because of us, or “we are responsible for it.”

3. Talk it out

If you keep an ego, it will only affect the relationship in a negative way. Dominance and ego can ruin any relationship. Talk it out, if something is just not right. Running from the problem or ignoring the problem will serve no purpose.

4. Be sensitive

Girls are more sensitive than boys are. It is important that you also behave in a sensitive way regarding the issue. Accept what has happened and talk it out directly. Do not blame her for things, which do not matter.
