5. You stay awake at night

Because you work too much, you cannot get enough sleep at night. Either you stay up late to finish some pending official work, or to finish a presentation meant for next week, or you come home from office so late at night that you hardly have time to get enough sleep before it is time to go back to office again.

6. You are out of shape

Of course, if you work all day and are occupied with work related thoughts in whatever little leisure that is left in your life, you will not have scope to exercise your body or do some physical activity that will make you move your limbs a bit. Thus, you are evidently out of shape. Either you are obese or are too thin and look malnourished. Get alert before you catch diseases!

7. You work on Sundays, holidays and even during vacations

You are so hardworking that you do not enjoy your Sundays and are engrossed with work even on holidays. On vacations, you carry your workload along with you and are busy with them instead of relaxing. This is a sure sign of being a workaholic.

8. You spend very little time with your family members

Forget friends and relatives, you are so busy with work that you do not even have time to spend with your family members. You are rarely seen at family gettogethers or parties and even if you do, either you arrive abysmally late, or leave in between on the pretext of an important meeting or appointment.

If you have some or most of the above signs, then you should get cautious because you might have become or are on the verge of becoming a workaholic. Before you know it, your personal and social life will go for a toss and so will your health and well being. So, instead of devoting yourself to your work blindly, work smart. Take breaks and holidays in between to rejuvenate yourself and come back refreshed.
