Striking the right chord with your girlfriend’s siblings is very important. Siblings can affect opinions of each other more than parents or peers can. Hence, it’s always advisable to be in the good books of her brother in order to have a smooth sailing relationship with your sweetheart. You can do so by following these guidelines.

1.Make him your buddy

Treat him like a good friend. Introduce your group of friends to him and get friendly with his buddies too. You can play video games, go out for a boy’s night out and engage in friendly banter. However, make sure you are on your best behavior and don’t drink too much, use cuss words or act completely crazy as this may make him feel you are irresponsible and juvenile.

2.Try to find out about mutual hobbies

Ask him about his likes and dislikes by which you will get to know which mutual hobbies you both share. So the next time you go for a swim or to play a game of tennis and you know he likes to do the same, you can ask him to join you. It would be a physical as well as a bonding exercise.

3.Help him out

If you feel he is going through a rough patch, then ask him the problem and try your best to help him out. You can help him in his work or studies or give advice regarding his love life or finances.

4.Take good care of your girlfriend
