The whole world is aware of the greatness of Michael Jackson and his sharp impact on every individual. The thing with Michael Jackson, or MJ, as he is fondly known, is that you can love him or hate him, but definitely cannot ignore him. He is still known as the invincible ‘King of Pop’ by the whole world.

Though there were many controversies that MJ experienced as part of his career, which sometimes bogged him down, it was his music that made him sail through all his difficult times. Michael Jackson always had a loyal fan following, which was a driving factor for his flying career and fame. Fans couldn’t stop loving MJ for his unique style, music, and of course, his iconic ‘Moonwalk’. In fact, they still haven’t. Here are a few reasons why we love Michael Jackson.

1. His music

Having been termed as the original ‘King of Pop’, Michael Jackson’s music genre mainly consists of pop, rock, soul, R&B, funk, disco, and new jack swing. He has given innumerable hit solos, which have been ranked No.1 for the longest time in world music charts. His name is etched in the Guinness World Records as the ‘Most Successful Entertainer’ of all time. Mostly, all his major music albums have been an all-time bestseller worldwide. His successful albums include ‘Thriller’, ‘Off the Wall’, ‘Bad’, ‘Dangerous’ and ‘HIStory’. He also received 13 Grammy Awards and 26 American Music Awards for his music.

2. His dancing

When Michael Jackson came into the limelight, his dancing skills were also widely appreciated and loved. His signature ‘Moonwalk’ became a rage amongst his fans. It was first seen in 1983 during a performance of “Billie Jean” on a Motown 25th anniversary TV special. There is not a single person who has not tried this moonwalk at least once in their lifetime. All the dancers around the globe are some way or the other inspired by Michael Jackson and his amazing dancing skills.

3. His music videos

MJ made some epic music videos in his career, and they were all known for their distinctive style and feel. Several of his music albums have been world bestsellers, out of which “Thriller” is considered to be one of the most sought after bestselling albums till date, as it sold over 100 million copies since it was released. This madness was mainly because of the way the songs were presented in the videos. The choreography in his music videos was extraordinary, and inspiring for a lot of people. Many people have grown up watching MJ’s videos and still remember him fondly.
