1. Superman

It’s not a bird and not even a plane! It’s an American cultural icon! The Man of Steel has almost every power that you can think of. While other superheroes put on a disguise to save the world, Superman disguises himself as a reporter to be a normal person. Created in 1932 by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, this superhero is quicker than a bullet, and more powerful than a locomotive.

2. Batman

We call him the Dark Knight, The Caped Crusader, and most importantly, Gotham City’s only hope! He guards the streets at night and sees shadows as his friends. Created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger in 1939, Batman makes up for the lack of superpowers with his unmatched courage, determination, and wealth.

3. Spiderman

The first teenage superhero, Spiderman is a nerdy high school student with acne issues and girl trouble. Originally created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko in 1962, Spiderman is agile and strong and can shoot webs from his wrists. You ought to want to be him, since he sure does whatever a spider can!
