A spook fest involving a dead female ventriloquist whose eerie hand puppet makes the life of the protagonists miserable. Although the film is scary throughout, the ending stands apart for its unique violence.

Unlike other films, there is nothing violent or gory happening in, The Others, but there is something very unsettling about it. That feeling is settled with the very surprising ending of this Nicole Kidman starrer.
