It’s as if you don’t have anything else to do besides thinking about ways of impressing her. When that’s all you can think about, it’s a sign that you are getting too desperate and probably trying way too hard.

3. She seems to need you only when she has work

When you try too hard, one of the things that happen is that the girl starts taking you for granted. Rather than viewing you romantically, she starts perceiving you as someone who’ll be there for her at every beck and call, leaving everything to tend to her needs.
