6 Signs You are a Late Bloomer
4. The body does not become muscular
As you grow older and your private parts show growth with hair around the area, your shoulders get wider and your body takes a firm shape and becomes more masculine. It depends on person to person as it is the genes that take care of the muscular growth of the body but it definitely changes to some extent. It might be less or more, but if your structure is not showing any such changes, you are a late bloomer.
5. Lack of sexual attraction
Once you hit puberty, you start having a sexual attraction towards another person whom you want to be with all the time or spend a good amount of time with. Not just any person, but one you would feel like being physically with. This is a very natural phenomenon and it is a sign of you growing up. It is due to the hormonal changes in your body. But if you are not getting attracted to any one, it might be one of the signs of being a late bloomer.
6. Negligible change in body height
Normally, boys start gaining height after they are 10 years old. Unless there is a family history of short height in the family, boys suddenly grow tall. But if you are a late bloomer, your height will not shoot up like that of the other boys. It is nothing to be embarrassed about. Generally late bloomers pick up with time.
