Taking care of your body from the outside is just as important as keeping it healthy from the inside. If you do not make hygiene a priority then you will be exposing your body to a number of bacteria, infections, and diseases. Shower daily, cut your nails regularly, wash your hands before eating, keep your pillow and bed clean, etc. These little things go a long way in keeping your body clean on the outside.

5. Stay clear of substance abuse

Though substances like alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, tobacco, etc., may seem to give you temporary happiness and relief from stress, you must understand how detrimental these prove for your body. Even if it is not possible to quit all these harmful habits, make sure you take them in moderation. Their excessive intake can prove fatal for you.

6. Avoid making yourself something that you are not

There has been a surge in the number of people opting for chemical treatments and plastic surgeries to change the way they look. While it is good to try and keep your body healthy, changing the way it looks through such drastic measures just proves that you are not proud of what God has given you.
