Due to excess heat in summer, your body has to face the problem of dehydration. Dehydration can cause many other infections in the body. Listed below are some easy ways to beat dehydration, read on.

1. Have plenty of water

It might sound cliche, but nothing beats water. Water is essential for the body as it keeps the body hydrated. It helps to flush out unwanted toxins from the body. Have at least two to three liters of water in summers. Sipping water throughout the day can really help to maintain a proper balance of the body.

2. Have juicy fruits and veggies

Have juicy fruits to beat the problem of dehydration. Include apricots, apples, and watermelon in the diet. Have fresh fruit juices at least three to four times in a week. Also, include carrots, basil, cucumber, and tomatoes in the diet plan. Avoid foods which are too dry and salty. Salty foods can cause dehydration in summers.

3. Have lemon and ginger

Have lemon juice with a dash of ginger juice during summers. Have this drink every alternate day. It is a perfect solution to cure dehydration caused by heat. Lemon juice provides instant respite from dehydration. If possible, add some mint leaves in the drink for complete cooling.

4. Have yogurt and buttermilk

Yogurt has good bacteria; hence, it helps to maintain a balance in the body. Have yogurt in any form during summers. Also, include buttermilk in the diet plan. Buttermilk helps to retain the water content in the body, thus preventing the problem of dehydration.
