5. Increase intake of vitamin C

To keep your teeth healthy, you need a good dose of calcium and fluoride. Calcium comes from Vitamin C, so enrich your diet with foods that contain the nutrients. Consume more milk and citrus fruits.

6. Avoid sugary foods

As kids we have been told by our parents how harmful the over consumption of candies, toffees, sweets and chocolates is. It is true that sugary foods cause tooth decay, hence, consume them in limit.

7. Brush with baking soda

It is advisable to brush your teeth with baking soda once a week or so as it acts as a whitener and removes stains or marks on the teeth. You can also use salt for the same purpose.
