1. Never miss a workout
Promise yourself that you will never miss a workout unless the reason is absolutely urgent. Whether it is because you want to attend a party or go to a movie, make sure you go to the gym and complete your workout before you do anything else.
2. Never cheat during exercises
Have you been doing lots of cheat reps just to get done with exercising? Remember that cheat reps will not help you achieve your workout goals and can also hurt you. Commit yourself to doing each and every repetition of each and every exercise in the correct way, no matter how bored or tired you are. 3. Keep yourself hydrated before, during and after workouts
This is one workout resolution that you don’t want to miss. A majority of your body weight is made up of fluids and your hydration levels can make or break your workout goals. Maintain a constant and adequate fluid intake with juices, water or sports drinks to help your body recover from exhaustion, heat and sweating during your workout.
4. Quit your vices to further your workout goals
To get the body you always wanted, make a New Year resolution that you will stay away from your vices. Smoking, excessive drinking and drug abuse can harm your workout goals and even have an adverse effect on your health. If it is not possible for you to quit instantly, cut back gradually. A healthier body will respond to your workouts in a much better way.
