9 Must-haves for a Man’s Wardrobe

A man’s wardrobe must have a few essentials or must have’s to help him wear the right clothes for every occasion. You might be very comfortable in your jeans and t-shirt, but you can’t walk around with it everywhere. There are place and occasions that demand that you be dressed up or dressed down and it always helps to be prepared and complete your wardrobe with the few basic essentials. Here are some clothes that you should have in your wardrobe.

1. A formal suit

And it goes without saying that you need to have a shirt and a tie that goes along with it. An interview, a wedding, a funeral or a formal party, you need to have it. It also makes you presentable. Invest in a good pair of suit and if you don’t have to wear a suit to work every day, one or two would suffice.

2. White shirt

If you can’t get a suit or get it ready on time, a white shirt always comes to the rescue. A well ironed crisp white shirt shows that you have made the effort.

3. Proper belts and shoes

You need to have at least one formal black belt that goes with your suit and your dress pants and shoes that match too. A formal show is a definite must with a suit, and casual shoes and sneakers can be worn with other clothes.

4. Khakis and jeans

Jeans will be around without a doubt in just about every wardrobe. Khakis too are the same. Nothing can beat the comfort you get out of wearing jeans and khakis.

5. An overcoat

Not necessarily a long coat. It just has to cover your shirt. It completes your dress and also helps keep you warm in cold weather.
