Hangovers are something that happen when your promise of a one small drink turns into a few too many. 1. Coconut water

Coconuts are great for hangovers. Drinking a glass of fresh coconut water can help calm your system sufficiently. Also, coconuts are rich in potassium, which is a good thing because, if you are having an intense hangover, then the reason might also be that you’re low in potassium.

2. Tomato

Tomato helps in metabolizing the alcohol faster. A tomato soup or even (this may surprise you a little) a Bloody Mary can be helpful. The idea of more drinks after already gulping down so many may seem crazy, but it’s actually known to help.

3. Electrolytes

Electrolytes are something that most people swear by for curing hangovers. Alcohol dries up your body and drinking plain water may not be enough. Your body also needs electrolytes to recover. Hence drinking electrolyte infused beverages like Gatorade is necessary. Also you can stock up the electrolytes in your body with other kinds of foods like banana, potatoes or yogurt that are high in potassium.
