5. Meditation and yoga

Yoga and meditation can lower your blood pressure level to a good extent. Just start with basics of Pranayam. Practice it for like ten to fifteen minutes on a daily basis. Meditation is also good for lowering your blood pressure level. You will be able to maintain a normal blood pressure by practicing yoga and meditation.

6. Replace tea with green tea

If you a regular tea drinker, then limit your tea intake! Or else replace your regular tea with green tea. Green tea is rich in antioxidants which is good for the body. It helps to maintain the normal blood pressure level of the body. Also, limit your caffeine intake because that may have an effect on your body.

7. Avoid stress

Stress has become a major cause for high blood pressure today. Especially, work related stress causes a lot of problem. So, avoid stress if you can in any situation. If you are feeling stressed, simply de stress by doing things you love. You can listen to music to relax your mind. Or, if you are in the office, simply play games to de stress your mind.
