4. His style

MJ had a very unique and distinctive style, which has become a trademark today. He was also given the term ‘King of Style’, due to his creative clothes during his performances. With his long curly locks flowing through his black hat, his white gloves, and ankle length trousers from where his socks would peek out, his fashion sense became a rage amongst his fans. Many people started imitating his trademark look, and some elements of the same are followed even today. The iconic red leather jacket and sequined white gloves he wore popped many eyeballs. It was his personality and confidence that let him carry the kind of clothes he wore with absolute ease.

5. His appearances

It was noticed around the mid-1980s that Michael Jackson’s appearance was changing rapidly. His skin tone was going from dark to white. During his career span of almost 40 years, it is assumed that he had several facial surgeries ranging from his nose, to forehead lift, altered lips, cheekbone surgery and a cleft put in his chin. All these surgeries altered his appearance a lot. Nevertheless, all his appearances were loved and accepted by his fans, and they made a unique style statement even after being criticized by a lot of people.

6. His contribution to society

Michael Jackson was a true humanitarian. Keeping away the share of controversies he had about him abusing children, one cannot take away the fact that he did a lot of good for the poor and downtrodden children. The song “We Are the World” with Lionel Richie in 1985, was recorded specially to raise money for Africa. MJ did a lot of charity work for the welfare of children and oppressed people. Likewise, in 1992, MJ founded the “Heal the World” Foundation that donates tons of supplies and millions of dollars to abused children on a regular basis.

All these reasons are definitely not enough to describe the greatness of this amazing superstar. There is so much more to his endearing personality and generous heart. He is, and will always remain alive in the hearts of millions of his fans.
