5 Things You Should Never Do on a Board Meeting
4. Answering phone calls or send text messages
The last thing you should do on a board meeting is attend calls, make phone calls, whisper under your breathe and very obviously stay engrossed in messages or messenger chatting. Attending personal calls is certainly not acceptable. Only if it is very urgent, you can excuse yourself and take it outside.
5. Talking while someone is addressing you
In a large group, when one person is addressing, sometimes you tend to talk to the person sitting beside you. It’s very disrespectful and should be avoided at all costs. You don’t want to be in a situation where someone notices you and gives you a sharp look.
